My name is Michael Parugrug and I have had the great opportunity to work with Cassandra Ortiz and her team at Infinity Care Solutions for many years. Working in the healthcare industry I have had a number of companies come and go wanting to help our elderly and medically fragile population. The team at Infinity Care Solutions has the talent, passion and knowledge to assist their clients with every scenario that comes up. I feel confident that the families I refer to Infinity Care Solutions will be heard and guided to the right solutions they need. For example, when I refer clients to Infinity Care Solutions to help complete government documents they create a step-by-step plan that includes arranging doctor’s appointments, reviewing accuracy of all forms prior to submission, and monitoring that all paperwork was received by the agency. Their pre-screening tools help clients know, before applying, that their application has a strong potential of approval or if they don’t meet the criteria for the programs. This way the clients aren’t wasting their time applying for something they didn’t qualify for from the beginning.

On a personal level, I have used Cassandra Ortiz’s expertise to apply for the VA benefit for my grandma, Carmen O. Prior to meeting Cassandra, I did not know that my grandmother was even a candidate for the benefit. Cassandra informed me that because my grandfather was a World War II veteran my grandmother could apply for Surviving Spouse Benefits. Cassandra took the time to explain how the reimbursement program works and she helped my family with the necessary paperwork to take to the physician. Cassandra outlined how to track the payment to submit for the reimbursement program even going as far to help us print out calendars to track the caregiver’s time. Additionally, Cassandra helped us with getting a copy of the DD 214 from the National Archive for my grandfather. Without Cassandra’s expertise on how to navigate this system my grandmother would’ve been without the benefit for the last 10 years.
